Barriss Offee was a female Mirialan Jedi Padawan who served the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars. Working with Aayla Secura on Felucia, Barriss Offee was killed shortly before the arrival of Shaak Ti, who was fleeing from the Empire.
History[]
Barriss Offee was born around the same time as Anakin Skywalker, who would one day be known as Darth Vader. Paired with Skywalker for a mission on Ansion, Offee could sense that her peer was troubled - but she could have never guessed at what he would become.
Barriss Offee was often at the side of her Jedi Master, Luminara Unduli. The pair were among the Jedi who participated in a meeting with Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, unaware that he was in fact the evil Darth Sidious. Offee was part of the operation to rescue Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi on Geonosis, and she was one of the few survivors.
During the Clone Wars, she participated in several battles against the Separatists, eventually attaining the level of Jedi Knight.
Barriss Offee was on Felucia when Order 66 was issued; she was killed by her own clone troops, around the same time as Aayla Secura.
Powers and Abilities[]
Barriss Offee was distinctly trained in the use of Force healing, a skill that very few Jedi mastered. Her knowledge of medicine was quite strong, even comparable to her skills with the lightsaber. Offee once used her abilities to help at a medical facility on the planet Drongar.
Personality[]
Barriss Offee had dedicated her life to the Force, and especially to the Jedi Order. Raised in the Temple on Coruscant from an early age, Offee knew almost nothing about her family. She was extremely loyal to Master Luminara Unduli and very dedicated to the art of lightsaber combat. Some would say she was cold and aloof, a trait that came in handy when dealing with dozens of dying or wounded clone troopers.
