Ki-Adi-Mundi was a Cerean Jedi Master who served the Jedi Council during the years leading up to the fall of the Republic. Ki-Adi-Mundi became a Jedi general during the Clone Wars, eventually meeting his demise at the hands of his troops on the planet Mygeeto.
History[]
Born on the world Cerea, Ki-Adi-Mundi grew up in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Mundi had achieved the rank of Jedi Master and was promoted to the Jedi Council shortly before the Battle of Naboo. During the Naboo crisis, Mundi was one of the Jedi to witness the discovery of Anakin Skywalker, and his subsequent training from Obi-Wan Kenobi, who later joined the Council.
Ki Adi Mundi was also a witness to the events leading up to the Clone Wars; he participated as a leading Jedi in the Battle of Geonosis, where many of his Jedi friends died. Afterward, he joined the Republic army as a general, leading battalions of clone troopers on many Outer Rim worlds.
Despite his formidable skills with the lightsaber, Mundi was another victim of Order 66. When Darth Sidious convinced Skywalker to fall to the dark side, he ordered a mass execution of the Jedi Knights. Ki-Adi-Mundi was on the planet Mygeeto when his clones turned on him, shooting him down during a battle.
